I vividly remember the first conference I attended in the Palm Springs area, back in the 1990's. And while ILTA has a penchant for hot and often humid, locations, the organization has delivered consistently over the years. Of particular interest to me is the change in attitude of ILTA members when it comes to first-time and relatively new technology providers. For many years, it seemed that new companies and their product offerings were viewed with skepticism. And while law firms and corporate legal attendees must always balance long-term relationships with new technology offerings, the vibe has changed significantly. Congratulations to ILTA for delivering terrific content and a great experience for all…especially if, like me, you wanted to get some extra steps recorded on your Apple Watch, Fitbit, or other tracking device! ## ILTACON Coverage ##### Finishing Strong ILTACON 2023 is drawing to a close, but that does not mean your interaction with the legal tech community must end. *-Kenneth Jones* [Read More](https://abovethelaw.com/2023/08/today-at-iltacon-finishing-strong/) ###### A Vibrant ILTACON 2023 The annual conference of the International Legal Technology Association, is a marathon, not a sprint. But it was a marathon well worth the effort, and almost all of the attendees I spoke to considered themselves winners for having participated. *- Bob Ambrogi* [Read More](https://www.lawnext.com/2023/08/a-vibrant-iltacon-2023-reaffirmed-its-place-as-one-of-the-leading-legal-tech-conferences.html) #### ILTACON 2023: The Happiest Place on Earth? Conference organizers reported that this was the second most attended show in ILTA’s history with over 3400 registerants. *- Stephen Embry* [Read More](https://www.techlawcrossroads.com/2023/08/iltacon-2023-the-happiest-place-on-earth/) ![IMG_1882](https://events.legal/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_1882.jpg?width=2000&height=1500&name=IMG_1882.jpg) ![IMG_1879](https://events.legal/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_1879.jpg?width=1500&height=2000&name=IMG_1879.jpg) ### Coverage Throughout the Event **Legal Takes a Mature Approach to AI at an Energetic ILTACON 2023:** The focus on practical use cases for generative AI was rivaled only by the sense of energy and collegiality that permeated [the second-largest ILTACON to date](https://www.law.com/legaltechnews/2023/08/30/legal-takes-a-mature-approach-to-ai-at-an-energetic-iltacon-2023/). **Legal Tech Rundown, ILTACON Edition: DLA Piper Launches AI-Based Service, DISCO Unveils AI Timelines and More:** Missed the latest industry news [before, during or after ILTACON 2023?](https://www.law.com/legaltechnews/2023/08/24/legal-tech-rundown-iltacon-edition-dla-piper-launches-ai-based-service-disco-unveils-ai-timelines-and-more/) Legaltech News has got you covered. **Today at ILTACON: Keynote Speaker, ILTACON Buddies, The Legal Bytes:** An exciting day of[pre-conference activities](https://abovethelaw.com/2023/08/today-at-iltacon-keynote-speaker-iltacon-buddies-the-legal-bytes/) was conducted Sunday. **Can't Spell ILTACON Without AI.
